A sample page from a children's illustration assignment/challenge that I just completed for SVSLearn.com. I have been trying to add more of an emphasis on a narrative and emotive qualities rather than on rendering images. I have to admit that it is very liberating but super difficult to resist the urge to become fixated with minor details! Ultimately, I do believe that a clear and relatable story is king over the quality of rendering. Hoping to find a balance of the two eventually.
