Here are a few rough screenshots (still needs clothes and his best bud Neil!) of Norman that I worked on last night in Blender. In 2015, my son and I watched Paranorman, a Laika Studios film about a boy named Norman "who can communicate with ghosts, [and] is given the task of ending a 300-year-old witch's curse on his Massachusetts town." It was the first film by Laika that we had ever encountered and we both were instant fans. The charming and relatable characters, nostalgic nod to the 90s, asymmetrical stylistic motifs, endearing artwork, humor, and overall message were all ingredients that made this film exceptionally memorable to us.
